You can register via the registration form. Registration will stay open until the 26th of March, with the early bird deadline on the 6th of March.
Please note that CAA2023 will be a fully in-person event. Unfortunately, due to the costs involved, we can not offer hybrid / online participation.
There will be an (experimental) post-conference Virtual Reality environment where digital content of the conference can be engaged with.
Bursaries
For students and low income delegates, bursaries are available. More information is available on theĀ CAA International website. Applications are now open, until the 17th of January.
Membership
Good to know: Participation to the conference, either as a speaker or as an attendee, is considered a benefit of CAA International members; this means that one should either become a (new) member or renew your annual CAA membership. Upon check in at the venue we could ask to show your proof of membership.
If you are unsure whether you have an extended membership (from 2020) to CAA, please contact membership secretary or you may consult the membership website.
Deadlines and fees
Registration deadline: 26 March.
Early bird full fee (deadline 6 March): 475 EUR
Late bird fee (deadline 26 March): 550 EUR
Early bird fee concessionary (deadline 6 March): 275 EUR
Late bird fee concessionary (deadline 26 March): 350 EUR
Please note that the concessionary fee is tied to the concessionary membership. Consult the membership website for more information.
Lunch
Lunch is not included in the fee. Within walking distance of the conference venue there are multiple options to buy lunch, but this can take a lot of time during the busy lunch period. For your convenience and to save time, we therefore encourage all attendees to include a lunch bag in their registration. We will then provide you with a lunch bag on all 3 conference days. The lunch bag will contain sandwiches, a drink, and some fruit or a sweet snack. Please see the Lunch page for more information.
Social events, workshops, excursions
Upon registration, you will be able to opt for the social events, workshops and excursions. Participants are welcome to bring their accompanying person to the conference venue and to participate in social events and excursions. A separate registration is not required. An accompanying person’s badge will be issued upon request during the on-site registration.

Cancellation policy
Unpaid reservations will be cancelled by UvA Conferences and Events, 2 weeks after they have been made and/or on March 27 at the latest. UvA Conferences and Events must be notified of cancellations of registration in writing, via conference@uva.nl.
- Cancellation on or before March 15, 2023: registration payment will be refunded (minus 100 euro administration costs)
- Cancellation after March 15, 2023: no refunds will be made.
- In case the organizing committee is forced to cancel the conference (due to Covid restrictions/developments), we will refund the registration payment, minus 10 euro to cover administration and transaction costs.
Privacy statement
The information we collect is only used for the purposes of organizing the event. We will not pass on your details to third parties without your consent unless this is for the purposes of organizing the event. Your details will only be stored for as long as is strictly necessary. The details will only be stored with Aanmelder.nl, a company with ISO 27001 certification. You can view and change your details at any time by clicking on the link you receive after you have registered.
